The Ministry of Education grants institutional accreditation to Karbala University.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has granted institutional accreditation to Karbala University, along with several other Iraqi universities.

This decision was made after the university met the strategic criteria required for educational institutions, including governance, management, financial and material resources, faculty members, students, scientific research, community service, and curricula.

For his part, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, emphasized the commitment of universities to meet quality and accreditation requirements, fulfilling the mission and goals of educational institutions while keeping pace with the global trend of academic education.

On his part, the President of Karbala University, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, expressed his appreciation for the ministry’s focus on the quality of education and institutional performance in accordance with the requirements of development and its global objectives.

The university president pointed out that the granting of institutional accreditation came after diligent efforts by the university staff, who worked as a team to develop the educational environment and improve the quality of education.
